This is a high profile job, one very much suited to her, but what will become of her even more famous, ex-presidential husband Bill? How will he adjust now that the tables have been turned, to a life in the shadows of his wife? Will he get involved or tell her what to do? Will he try to influence her decisions to favour his charitable work?

The absence of Bill Clinton from Barack Obama’s campaign has been a problem for months. The public support and help from the last democratic president in indisputably a very powerful tool when trying to become the next one. So when the two most powerful men in the Democratic Party stood side by side at a huge joint rally in the crucial swing state of Florida, it seems like they have finally buried the hatchet. The aim was to show togetherness and a combined aim in the last few days of campaigning.
